Some stores are selling things at 70% off to try to bring in a few last bucks this December. Yesterday we stopped at a gas station for a cup of coffee since we were miles from any decent coffee shop. I happen to carry tea bags for just such a time. (Can't stand gas station or fast food coffee!!) Dad J got a large coffee and a large hot water. They actually charged him full price for 2 large coffees and said they couldn't charge less even though one was only hot water!!! You can be sure we won't ever stop THERE again! I can understand charging a quarter for the cup or something, but that was some serious price gouging!
No pink eye was given to any of the rest of us for Christmas. As most moms know, it was a true miracle!!
