This week, I mentioned to a coworker that I had just celebrated my 15th anniversary. Her comment was "Wow! I don't think I know ANYONE who's been married THAT long!"
That got me thinking. It was such a sad comment, that I didn't even have a reply!
I've been bothered by that comment for several days. It's such a sad state we live in where vows are taken lightly and commitments are rushed into. I realize there are plenty of "other" circumstances, but, in general, it's a sad reflection of our society.
